OMG. I can't believe the drivers are not only alive, but awake and moving around.

One of those cars had to have crossed the center barrier right? I've seen a couple of very bad crossover accidents like that.

    From the comments:

According to the CHP, Apol Lansang, 26, of Sonoma, was driving her Malibu south on Highway 101, near Geysers Road when she was struck by the northbound Sequoia being driven by Kevin Fenty, 27, of Huntington Beach, that drifted across the highway into Lansang’s lane.

The impact sliced Lansang’s car down the middle, sending the car’s entire passenger side onto the embankment. Fenty was ejected by the impact. Both drivers were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital — Lansang with minor injuries and Fenty with moderate injuries, according to the CHP.

Wowza. Lucky people. Is that Impala or Malibu? Comments say Malibu. Sequoia outweighs it a wee bit.

My guess is Cool Breeze was texting and drifting and did not have his seat belt on.

Life is short, it can be gone in a flash.

Impala Limited LTZ, I have one.

    Weird feeling seeing that.

I'd have never believed that was possible, and the female driver was said to have only minor injuries.

OMG That accident site is enough to make even the strongest of stomachs queasy the way the debris was scattered from Hell to breakfast. Amazing that no one was killed in all of that.

    Re: Impala crash worthiness...

That would have been a fatal crash if there were ANY other passengers in that car.

Gives you an idea of the forces involved at those speeds.
