To ponder: over 50% of Cadillac sales in March were FWD.

Good thing they engineered an AWD model of the CT6; think of the weight savings when they yank out the driveshaft!

Oh, and while I KNOW they're not comparable, March fun fact: MKZ + MKS > ATS + CTS. And that's with a nasty tumble for both Lincolns.

On the flip side, SRX easily outsold MKC + MKZ + MKT, so there's that. And as expected, Escalade trounced Navigator, though the Navi managed a nice increase on the back of its refresh.

Except when you factor in that Avis, Hertz & Co. are now getting Equinox's instead of Captiva's..........................

"net-net" down, 228 units YOY ~ we'll call that flat.

I know car sales are in the tank because everybody loves their trucks and cheap gas, but:

Cruze, Malibu, Impala-W, Impala-EPI; Down 15.8% goes to Down 21% if you pull in Sonic!

    Re: GM Sales March 2015

Sedans took a hit industry wide. I saw numbers posted for Ford and Honda sedans as well, and it wasn't pretty.

However, CTS sales are in absolute free fall. I made a thread last year about the new logo/associated grilles possibly hurting Cadillac sales (the Wreath & Crest looked so much better), and I still think that may be a contributing factor.

ATS and CTS continue to stink up the joint. SRX is going strong and XTS is showing a little life in it.

    Bad month overall IMHO.

Cadillac doesn't and shouldn't sell the same numbers as Lincoln. Buick got Lincoln covered and aced.

Enjoy the new normal for CTS, all ye who didn't believe me and thought it was really crushing the A6.

    Come on, son.

If it beats anyone (besides the XF), it'll have a great year.

Cadillac could really use that halo effect about now...

Where are the sales figures for the other manufacturers? I've been told time and time again that this isn't a GM site, yet all we have here are March sales for GM.

Next month Buick's best-selling vehicle will be a Korean-built CUV designed for the European and Chinese markets. If there was ever a time for a proper American designed-and-built Avenir, that time is now. Okay Australian designed, but we'll take American-built, right?

SRX and XTS #1 and 2 at Cadillac for March and for the 1st quarter of 2015. Yet these are the two bas+ard children that Cadillac wants to rid themselves of. SMDH!

I guess we don't get it....................

I guess Cadillac isn't "healthy" until monthly sales are in the 5,000 unit a month range.

STORY PROBLEM: If Cadillac makes double the profit on every car/truck/suv they sell, but volume is 1/4 to 1/3 of what is was, are they making more money?

Oh, I almost forgot, did you hear! Cadillac came out with another new Sedan!
