Gm card top up / what offers can you not combine.

I'm looking at 2015 Malibu's. are there any offers I can't combine with my topup earnings. I see lease conquest on dealer websites but one of my local dealers said they have $250 vouchers for trade in and that they can combine up to 6 of them. Would that be eligible to use towards my top up offer? As well as the cash on the hood of them?

    Thanks!

Just checked, you can not combine it with GMSupplierDiscount(discount worth about 2.5% of the Malibu's MSRP), there is a GM loyalty program that worth $1000.00 discount for the Malibu, however I couldn't find whether you can combine it with the GM Top Up earning, you should be able to combine the Top Off with all the cash bates.

GM card top off can be used with certificates. Loyalty and lease conquest are both private offers and only one can be used, but both are compatible with GM card. Employee, Supplier, Credit Union, and Military, and all other purchase programs are only compatible if you have the extended family card.

I just have the regular card. I didn't know if the conquest could be combined since it's a "topup" offer and not my standard redemptions. Wow so my understanding is:

    $3,000 topup
    $500 conquest
    $1500 certificates
    $2000 cash on the hood?

That's pretty good. I would think I should be able to get a little off msrp too.

Yes they all will combine but you should the $1000 Loyalty instead of Conquest, if you qualify.

FYI-Just checked and Conquest is $1000 on the 2015 Malibu.

The dealer explained it that they get $250 certificates to close sales. They can combine up to 4 on a standard sale of 6 on a conquest.

We ended up getting a 2015 Traverse instead of the Malibu and I can't believe the deal we got honestly.

We traded in our 2014 Corolla, loved the car but not big enough, as we have a new baby.

    39 month, 15,000 miles a year lease.

$37,000 traverse 1LT sunroof and some options

$314 a month, with 0 due at signing and about $3,000 in negative equality.

Extremely happy. $14 more then the Corolla a month with 0 out of pocket. It would've been $299 if we did the 12,000 mile a year lease. ImageUploadedByAutoGuide1422329661.724132.jpg

    Thank you for the explanation.
That's quite a change, from Corolla to Malibu to Traverse.

The new Malibu on the top off post card looked pretty sharp...big improvement in styling.

Be extremely careful after the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty is up. Anything that is not working properly and not covered by powertrain warranty after this expires is your responsibility to fix if you want to turn it in after 39 months. At 15,000 miles per year, this is only about about 29 months.

Are Traverses known to be bad vehicles? We didn't really do a ton of research, just seemed like a crazy deal at 14/ mo more then Corolla, so we jumped on it.

They (GM) are trying to offload all the big CUVs. Enclave, Traverse, Acadia. All 15s were 0% for 60 from jump with rebates.

    Reason?

2016 will be an all new redesign.

GM always firesales soon to be previous model designs. Just surprising they did it so soon with these. They must be worried of huge over stock and limited interest by the time the new one debuts.

Look for the Equinox/Terrain to go on firesale in 2016 as the 17s will be a redesign.

WOW, sounds like you did A-OK! GM's got most of the bugs worked out of it, and the re-fresh a couple years ago was a notable improvement in many areas.

    Congratulations!

Powertrain is still good, but bumper-to-bumper will be out, so he just needs to make sure everything is good working order when he nears 36/36 and cross fingers that nothing expensive goes near the end.

With that kind of miles, he may be looking at a couple tires (or excess charge) for tire wear assuming you will have +/- 45,000 miles on it.
