    Chevys in Germany!

So I'm spending the week in Essen, Germany this week and have seen a handful of Chevrolets on the road. So far, a couple of Sparks, a Cruze, a Malibu(!), and even a Traverse today! Have also seen a couple of Cadillacs (last-gen CTS and first-gen SRX). No pics, but I'll try to snap one if I get the chance to see more.

Love to see American cars in Europe, can't wait for the pics.

I had a Chevy in Europe, when I was stationed there mid-last decade. Was fun cruising just under the speed limiter on the autobahn going to and from work.

If You like the look of Korean Chevrolets, enjoy it as long as You can because GM axed them and sent their customers to Dacia, Hyundai/Kia stores. You had luck to see the Malibu. GM even never advertised it so nobody knew about it's existence.
And don't be surprised to see American cars there. People simply like them although sometimes they can't afford them or find them impractical.
    Waiting for more pictures!

I wasn't around during Cadillac's last heyday, so this is the first time I've ever written the following words: The car to beat, the best car in its class, is a Cadillac. You're done playing offense, Cadillac. I hope you can learn how to play defense.

That's all the pictures I have. Most of my days were spent inside working a trade show.

I know you find American cars in Europe, but it's always fun to see our home market cars in other countries. It was definitely a little bizarre to see all the Buicks when I went to China. By the way, the Malibu was definitely Euro-spec, as it had the rear fog light at the bottom of the rear bumper, so it's even more interesting to see an American car that was sold through the network and wasn't a private import by a military person (which that Oldsmobile probably was).

The Hummer looks about the size of a locomotive in Germany..............still the same old bad taste though.

The Alero wouldn't impress anyone in a picture surrounded by expensive European exotics. But I would take it over the basic transportation cars from Your photo anyday. It must have been imported straight from US although it has amber turn signals.
It used to be available through official sales channel though. In a GM parodic kind of way. They sold it as Chevrolet by gluing Chevrolet name on the trunk and leaving Old's badges. So we had one of a kind Oldsmobile Chevrolet Alero.
