That is about right as it is priced $7500 too high for most trims.

I know that more people would spring for that rather than spending almost 2k to get two things they want.

$2,000 off is solid and it's a good start. A buddy has one and his wife LOVES it but he said it's an awful family vehicle for them and their two boys. There just isn't enough room to take a trip in it. They went to Florida for 5 days and he said never again but then again, he's used to having his Tahoe so I just think he might be used to a larger vehicle as well.
In 2015 we did a 2 week family vacation which included myself, my husband, our teenage son and his best friend. We drove from Arizona to Orlando Florida and stayed there for a week (3 days to get there), then hopped over to New Orleans for 3 days, then to San Antonio for 1 day, and then an over 900 mile day to get home. This was in our 2013 Explorer Sport (which currently has 101K miles on it). It was an amazing trip. We never wanted for space. We bought more souvenirs than should be legal. We also carried all kinds of snacks and drinks, etc. No one was uncomfortable in any way. Everyone should take a family vacation like that now and then.

That said, how very sad that the Blazer performed so poorly in that realm. It couldn't even handle a 5 day trip.

I find it to be a good looking vehicle in some pictures / trims. However, the one that I have seen in the wild was white, and was not a top trim, and was very ordinary looking................ if not odd looking in the front.

Blazer rs looks great but its pricing is wacked.

Whoever priced this vehicle initally was on drugs.

Now come the doscounts? That speed at which it was doiscounts must piss off early adopters...
And im sure residuals have taken a dump that will increase future lease costs.

    Gm never learned...

Just price the vehicle correctly from the beginning.

Hopefully the chevy trailblazer and trax? Which look great are priced correctly when and if they release in the USA.

    Minimblazer looks.

    Agree with you 100%

I have my eye on the Leather package but with no other add ons and it seems reasonable to me... at least that's what I am telling myself. So far the biggest discount I've seen is $2000 off MSRP nothing more.

    Anyone find something better?

I really don't like the idea of overpricing then rebating, it cheapens the vehicle, especially a new one... Chevy isn't Kohl's.

I'm very interested to see what the sales numbers actually are. In the area we live in, I know of only 2 Blazers I see on the road on a semi-regular basis. On my way to work on Tuesdays, I drive by a house that has a new one in the driveway each morning on a country road....and I see a red RS driving around my town a couple times per week. Nothing else.

We recently too a vacation/trip to Boston and Cape Cod. 3 days in Boston (at the hotel, walking around the city) and 4.5 days on Cape cod (Driving down Rt. 3 from Boston and then driving everywhere on the cape, on the roads everyday.) I have to admit I wasn't specifically on the lookout for a Blazer, but I do not remember seeing a single one on the roads on our entire trip there.

I can't see how the numbers they are selling for the first 6 months of the year can be anything but awful.

In all honesty, there should've never been a LS or LT Blazer. RS should've been the base w/ the 2.5 standard...3.6 optional and not exceeding the price of the Premier

One more benefit of hanging around GMI! And there's no extra charge.

Well here is a belated welcome to our state! Hope we treated you well.

As far as the Blazer goes, I've seen one in the entire time it's been on the market. But we New Englanders are Subie/Audi/Honda/Toyo folks for the most part and certainly not an area that embraces US brands. We do embrace US built (Foreign nameplates built in the states) which I am very happy about, but Ford and GM are minorities outside of trucks.
