Check out the video at this link and at 0:14 you will see a full rear and partial front view of a concept drawing for a Chevrolet vehicle. Could be an exercise, could be a reveal of a future vehicle. Who knows? Enjoy!
Go frame by frame and you"ll also see a cadillac he's apparently working on. Looks like an srx. Do I win anything for spotting that 1 frame gm? How about a new srx?
Bummer, it did not play for me on this Mac. Did it look like that very radical concept Chevy showed some months back that echoed in some ways the Centennial Corvette concept that I HOPE was a glimpse of Chevys to come?
I like the CG coupe in the intro at the 7-9-second mark. It reminds me of a concept 5th-gen Camaro that someone came up with long before the GM concept. It could have been this one: http://arkansascamaro.com/2007camaro.html
John: It looks to be a compact, fastback coupe. More Volt-like than Corvette. The front view on his pad shows only a three-quarter from the front wheel back, no front clip. The monitor shows a full rear three-quarter.
One thing I don't get about designers is how they sketch cars with tiny slit windows and massive wheels that cannot be produced. They are then forced to dumb down those aspects for production and suddenly the car doesn't look anywhere near as good as the sketch.
Pen a car with proper proportions from the get go and you will have a more attractive production car.
I hope thats the Cruze based Scion TC fighter that Chevrolet so needs!
I saw the 3rd door too, like the old Saturn SC/Ion, that was a great idea attached to a kinda lousy car, but it was a unique GM only feature, I would like to see it used again.
