    Chevrolet Celebrity Nomad Sketch

I was never much of a Celebrity fan, but it would have been great if this had made production. Motor Trend was predicting it would have had a fuel injected V6, manual option, and an IRS. I guess the bean counters got involved..........again.

I remember that. Amazing what it does for the Celebrity! That said, I remember the Eurosport wagons fondly. My buddy's parents had one and it was nice looking, practical and seemed to drive well for the day.

Or whom ever came up with the idea shot him/her self in the head after realizing how ghastly it was and it was never spoken of again.

People are waaaaaaaaaaayy too quick to bash GM around here. I know this is hard to believe for way too many people around here, but just because you think it's a hot idea, doesn't actually mean it's a good idea. Sometimes, things really ARE a bad idea!

My first ride was a 1984 celebrity station wagon with about 175k on it. What a piece of garbage American makes were back then, and truthfully other then some exotics it was the worst period of automotive design ever imo.

What was so bad about it? I had a significantly newer '94 Century wagon and they figured out the bugs by then but it was the same thing pretty much
