2020 Camaro LT1 Build feature now available

You can now build and price a 2020 Camaro LT1 on Chevrolet.com. With no options, price is $34,995 and it gives you a $1500 cash allowance/discount for a net price of $33,495. I'm almost tempted to sell my truck and get a Camaro.

That's a great car for that price! The basic LT interior is fine overall and the simple knobs and dials are welcome in a daily driver. My '17 RS V6 is my winter car and I enjoy its simplicity. DO IT!!

My '17 Silverado is a pretty basic W/T with a few options so I'm completely fine with simple knobs and dials. All the added tech gizmos are cool but all I really need is A/C and the Android Auto compatibility for music and navigation.

Hopefully this puts enough V8 Camaros in driveways to justify a 7th gen. If I were in the market for a new Musclecar, I'd definitely look at a LT1 'Maro as there won't be anything that can match it dollar for dollar in terms of performance.

i was reading a report on the C8 that said the drivers seat was mounted higher than the passengers. Anyone know why.

Can the LT1 save the Camaro???

I don't think so....I feel that the Camaro's fate is sealed.

I will say however, the LT1 did make me consider wanting one enough to build it one and at $38k equipped the way I want. I even considered having a car payment, but I hate car payments and don't want anymore...possibly ever.

If I did though, a LT1 might be in my driveway...still want that ATS-V though..

Keep in mind, last month the Camaro was GM's SECOND best selling car!!

I really like the LT1 and would be very tempted by one, if I were in the market. Hopefully, it's not coming too late. I keep wondering whether having this trim available at the beginning of the model cycle might have set a different course for the Camaro.

No questions asked it would have made a difference.

More options are always a good thing, which is why I believe the Challengers are so popular. Dodge really has played that model well.
