2016 Cruze and Malibu, like Impala, to have "Limited" version?

I noticed that GM has preliminary VIN Information Cards listed for the 2016 model year ( https://service.gm.com/dealerworld/vincards/ ). In the 2016 car link, they list a Cruze Limited and a Malibu Limited. Compare to the Impala, whose W-car version is still offered as the "Impala Limited."

Might this suggest that there are new Cruze and Malibu designs coming out for 2016--perhaps late in the year? There are no "regular" Cruze and Malibu models listed, but they might be omitted in advance of a public debut.

Thanks 'stu-rock'. This could prove to be very interesting if you are correct. I love my 2011 Cruze and I would really like to see Chevy hit one out of the park for both the New Cruze and New Malibu.

Some other interesting nuggets in there including a C/K 10 model for the Silverado.

Anybody else noticed that the Sonic is getting a 1.6L LDE engine?

and I assume like the AVEO it is for the body style (NON USA / NON Canada) I assume Mexican market as the sonic is showing US + NON US production and I believe USDM sales are NOT strong enough to fill US production

That's a global first - Europe gets the 1.6 MDE and 2.0 LDE - didn't know that the two ranges overlapped.

Interesting. I tend to think both old and new versions will be offered together for a while much like the Impala was. The old body style being for fleet use mainly. These could show up early and the next gen. being early releases as '17 model year, thus the info let out by management of coming in '16. ??? Just my thoughts.

Look at the truck vin card and it looks like the Tahoe gets the 6.2 and the Suburban gets an HD version. But for some reason I remember these not being 100% accurate.

The cards listed the 6.2 in the Tahoe for 2015 as well.

GM refuses to release the separate sales figures for the Impala and Impala Limited models. I suspect it is because the Impala Limited is outselling the Impala.

I own a 2014 Impala 2LTZ, which replaced a 2012 Impala LTZ. I would like to see the sales figures separated.

    Thanks for the information.
