    2010 Equinox GPS Updates?

Wondering how one might find out if there are any software updates for the navigation system for the Equinox? In particular I sure wish it would tell me the street name I need to turn on...especially on city streets. Very confusing when I am driving and it says "turn right" and like okay..which right? Sure would be nice if it said "turn right on sixth avenue". When I am on the freeway, driving it does give more information, but it doesn't seem to give the information when I am making lots of turns quickly.

Otherwise, love the car. Got it in January 2010 -- 7500 miles. No problems.

Buy a Garmin. The dealer wanted 200 bucks for CD updates for my 2007 GP GXP. My experience with this "nav" system has been completely negative. To call it a POS is to cast aspersions on the respectable POSs out there.

For 200 bucks you can get a good nav, and it ain't the one in your dashboard.
