    2007 Tahoe Heated Seat

Hello - I have a 2007 Tahoe with Leather and Heated Seats. (The switch for the heater is interestingly enough the 2008 model design). 80% of the time, the bottom seat heater won't turn on.

If I use the remote start on my car, and its cold outside, the heated seat works fine....always Once I put the key in, and turn it on, the heated seat turns off.

When I start the car, with the key, and push the heated seat bottom, 80% of the time it won't turn on. Sometimes if I push it repeatably fast it will turn on. But not also true.

100% of the time if I push the seat back heat, it turns on.

For the seat bottom, it doesn't matter if I am seating in the seat or not, it doesn't work 80% of the time.

I'm thinking about ordering a 2008 Tahoe heat switch and replacing it. There is lots of YouTube videos on replacing the 2007 and older switch, but the 2008 pretty close.

Any thoughts on if it might be something else?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

May be the heated seat module under the seat is the problem.
