    Exclamation 2006 Monte Carlo LTZ

    Hey all, new kid on the block here... but i'm going too look at a 2006 monte carlo ltz with the 3.9 motor tomorrow.
    Anything i should be looking at for issues? Short notice, i know, sorry.

    Has 50,000 miles and it's at a dealer.

    I don't remember any particular problems with this model. Check a Carfax, or some type of vehicle history. That is low mileage for an 8 model year old car. Be sure it hasn't been in a flood zone.

    Intermediate steering shaft clunks, the odd 4T65 trans-axle issue and the 2006 known issue of false low tire pressure alarms. Also the keyless entry fob has given certain owners trouble with distance, some needing to be right on top of the car for it to work. The fix is a TSB from what I understand. Other than that these are pretty good vehicles.
