I kind of like that RS1 with the exception of their cartoonish front end design. The instrument panel even though it's got screens is sort of acceptable to me also.

It's kinda up there, but these things still are. They need more market acceptance and competition from all over then the prices will drop. (IMO, of course).

I hope the trucks are built FAR better than their website is.

The front is just plain hideous. I'm sure folks who like amorphous blobs will like them.

Cover the front with a paper bag, and it isn't hideous.

I like the side and back, but the front looks like a frightened cartoon character.

Re: Rivian Launches Website| Preorder Now

I believe these pickup truck and cuv electrics will be quite impressive.

I realize owners of the alReady very impressive ford f150,chevy silverado and dodge ram will either love the new wave of technology and looks of these startups or not be a fan at all.

Should be quite the battle. Truck buyers are among the most loyal and fiercest.

Im not really a pickup or large cuv enthusiasts so my opinion matters little.

If tesla would shrink the cybertruck to the size of a porsche macan Id be interested but my better half hates the hard angles of the styling.

I wonder if tesla could do that exoskeleton construction with less hard edges? The construction technique with no paint and never being able to be dented sounded awesome. Partially part of my fascination with the cyber truck. Its price point of 40 grand for the one motor 2 wd , 50 grand for the two motor awd and 70 grand for the three motor crushes the competition in pricing and performance...

Tesla needs to make the 25 grand small cuv with an exoskeleton construction to avoid the 600 million dollar paint shop and indestructibility during ownership..

Pricing on vehicles today has gotten out of control. Even 25 grand is a lot of money and today we are speaking of a 25 grand EV vehicle as almost impossible.

I believe the first company to create a 25 grand ev for anyone and everyone will be the winner.

With our current trade war winds etc Id really prefer this vehicle to be made in america using ev technology and an exoskeleton construction,

As far as ev pickup...im sure ford, gm and ram will compete hard with great product too.

Teslas cybertruck will be a massive success if it fits in garages. Thats is only shortcoming. Must fit in a garage especially if charging overnight.

The front is a little weird, but for whatever reason, I am drawn to this thing.

It's not really a "replacement" for a pick-up, for people that use their truck, (for example, I had my truck and 6 1/2' bed full of scrap-metal, over 1,000 lbs. last week) but as a "grocery getter" flats of flowers or a few bags of mulch, for the wife?........

It is "stupid money" but not as much as a Hummer, which I wouldn't use any different.

I love the Rivian models. Inside and out. They have a futuristic and sophisticated appearance that doesn't look like something that was inspired by a kid's drawing. The interior is a Tesla interior done right.

It's ok. I like the Nikola Badger much better. If it makes it to production.
