Nissan: New Brand, Z Sports Car Logos trademarked

Nissan Trademarks New Brand And Z Sports Car Logos
    BY BRAD ANDERSON
    MARCH 20, 2020
    carscoops.com

A pair of intriguing trademarks from Nissan have emerged online showcasing a new company logo and a new logo for a Z sports car.

The Nissan brand logo you see pictured was recently registered in the UK, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay and is much more minimalist than the marque’s current logo. It adopts a simple two-dimensional design with black text.

Many other companies have been adopting simple 2D logo designs in recent years, including the likes of Google, BMW, and Volkswagen. What remains unclear is whether Nissan intends on using this new logo for its online branding as BMW is doing with its transparent logo or if this will serve as the new badge for future Nissan production models.

They should style the new one to have that long hood, and perhaps even make an inline six

Everyone I knew with one loved it...sales are down probably because it's been around for 11 years without even so much a minor change. Introduce a new model and most of the previous gen buyers will re-up.

That's what I say. Retro to the tune of that only more modern instead of what they have now.

The just need the 280Zs proportions and they would have a huge hit on their hands, would be even better if it had something like a 3.0L I-6 engine in it. Though we all know that this car will get LS swapped.....

That looks suspiciously like the illegitimate offspring of a Gen 3 Camaro and a Saturn SC. But who am I to judge? Cute kid.

I am impressed that it has both hidden and exposed headlights though. That's a formidable styling challenge.
It sounded pretty good until I actually said it.

Nothing wrong with the 370z as is...only thing I'd change is make it a 2x2. With the rumored name of 400z we can assume that the G50/60's red 400 powerplant makes it in

No way its going 2x2. Next Gen is supposed to be a little smaller and getting the Redline 3.0TT ~ 400HP. Shoulb be a firecracker.
