Ford Bronco: First Real Spy Shots

Here Are the First Real Spy Shots of the Upcoming Ford Bronco
This isn't just a mashed-together test mule. This camouflaged off-roader looks like the real deal.

The 2020 Ford Bronco is one of the most hotly anticipated cars this year. We've seen tons of rumors, test mules, and renderings, but now, for the first time, we're finally seeing pictures of the real truck in the flesh.

Our spy photographer recently captured these pictures of the upcoming Bronco driving through a snow-covered field. How can we tell this is the actual truck? Well, it looks totally different from the vehicle—likely a Ranger-based mule—shown in Ford's recent desert test video. The truck you see here sports a more boxy design, with a squared off off and fenders. It looks more like a G-Wagen, Wrangler, or Suzuki Jimny than anything in Ford's current lineup. It's clear Ford is aiming for the rugged, off-roading segment here.

This truck more closely resembles the Bronco R Baja race truck than anything we've seen before. This makes sense considering Ford used aspects of the production Bronco on the R model.

It sure looks boxy enough to fit the bill for the Bronco of yore even if it has four doors instead of two.

I bet this thing will have dimensions that matches the Wrangler to within an inch. I'd rather something true to where the last bronco left off which wouldve been a 2 door Expedition

I think it needs duct tape! Its not rugged enough. Got no idea what it will look like underneath that cammo though.

Re: Ford Bronco: First Real Spy Shots

The proportions look off to me. It's too long and low. I was expecting it to look like a combination of a Wrangler and FJ Crusier. These spy pics do not help my pessimism about this very important product for Ford.

Looks like to much camo to tell what it looks like.

It looks like it has IFS , if so it's not a Wrangler competitor it's an Escape competitor .

No worries, it will be the first upgrade anybody does after they buy it.

Its supposed to be more of an Overlander than rock crawler, I am thinking more like a ForeRunner TRD/Landcruiser/LR4. Kind of like the Raptor is more a Baja truck.

Looks awkward. Definitely not a Wrangler competitor unless all you care about is the "look."
