BMW 6 Series Coupé Concept: design gallery

BMW has released an official set of sketches and photos that document the design development of the 6 Series Coupé, the luxury 2+2 seater that debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and that will be produced starting from 2011.

The gallery includes design sketches made by Iranian designer Nader Faghihzadeh, who already penned the interior of the latest 7 Series model.

I like the "blade" design on the doors...reminds one of the Opel Insignia

So much nicer than the current. I find the current one too bloated looking.

I love it -- it is beautiful homage to the original 6er, even down to the interior. This is the 6-series they should have built in the first place.

That's the one element that ruins the design for me.

I would not want to wash those wheels! Too intricate a design, and too much area.
