We caught shots of the new snake-bit Mustang playing in Royal Oak today outside of Metro Detroit:
2010 Shelby GT500
Love the animal looking print used to disguise the car!
I like the hood. Tail lights could use a little more Bling, maybe Sequential like the 69 Cougar.
Rumor has it that the turn signal illuminates the tail lamps sequentially from the inside light to the outside light. <--- /// \\\ --->
I though sequential lights were illegal from the OEM?
The ice in the grill make it look like it has teeth. It's a shame Ford doesn't have a big cube all aluminum OHV to stuff under that supercharger to help the poor weight balance and price. That car would be incredible if they did.
there has been a small discussion at blueovalforums if the new GT500 has IRS or the regular axle

GT500 customers, overwhelmingly, either want a solid axle or don't care.
My suspicion is that the GT500 will have the carryover engine. 500hp isn't exactly half bad, and at that point, you're reaching the limits of usable power for this car.
I also expect SVT's next project to be a highly-tuned version of the upcoming EcoBoost V6 Mustang, which will be more of a perfectly-balanced precision road racer than the big bruiser GT500.
Also, anyone care to explain to me what car costs in the low $40,000 range, with that kind of performance?

Just as I said with the regular 2010 Mustang... Minor changes made a vast improvement in it's appearance.
