2014 and later Silverado A/C Issues - Come on GM!!!

A/C issues with 2014 and later Silverado's are all over every product forum since they were released.
Why do we have to suffer for GM's lack respect for their customers?
My HHR was only fixed after people got hurt, yet they fixed the one's sold in Canada years before.
If it's non-safety related we get the shaft.

Can't to see what's in store for the new C8 owners!

Silverado A/c systems leak at the condenser and lines leading to and from. And the HHR power steering pump would fail while driving. It did that to my wife while she was in a turn causing her to hit a curb because she wasn't strong enough to steer it with out the assist. I complained all the way to corporate as well as posted to this forum. It was only repaired after the ignition switch fiasco. The paint is peeling off everywhere on my Silverado as well as the A/C issue and I live in Arizona!

Well, so far I've owned vette's since 2001 and the only significant issue has been the A8 shudder. The triple flush has solved it hopefully. So not bad, 18 years 1 problem.

Except the HHR had electric assist power steering. Is there a pump to fail?

My bad...the electric power steering assist module...same one used in the Cobalt which was also fixed under recall but not the HHR except in Canada until the ignition switch issue.
