    Taste of Lexus

    http://www.tasteoflexus.com/default.asp

Kinda similiar to GM's Auto Show in Motion, but for Lexus. Coming to 10 cities (even mine), Houston. I'm going to Auto Show in Motion in September, but I don't know if I want to go to this Lexus one, with a whole bunch of snobby people there.

Sounds interesting, and I'm sure you would find snobs at GMASIM.

    Re: Taste of Lexus

Tell me... why would you post this under the European Competition forum? Does that make sense? I knew I should have posted this when I had the chance.

Secondly, Lexus didn't rip off GM's autoshow in motion. Lexus has been doing this for several years now and so have other manufactuerers such as BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Mercedes and a few others. So you need to get that straight.

Third, there will be competition vehicles available.

I've read several comments about the Lexus event being fantastic and better than GMs. They say that Lexus has many of their vehicles available as well as competition vehicles which means no excessive long lines. They also stated that the tracks were longer and more thought out. Lexus is also more lenient meaning pedal to the metal. They want you to test the limits of their vehicles. Not so much with GM's event. I was warned for speeding (told to slow down) and banned from the SSR area due to a misunderstanding (revved the engine while rolling). I was also warned for revving the engine in the GTO when I started it up. Rediculous rules.

So you're saying the SC430, GS430, and the new IS350 are boring?

Yes, because the Euro cars ****************ty quality might infect Lexus.

So what if the Lexus products don't excite you. That is an excuse. The event is free so all that is left is the distance to the event and your hate toward Lexus.

Most prefer a smooth, quiet ride with no irritating and unappealing noises. This is a luxury brand. People expect a solid car. Your bar is set way too low. WAY TOO LOW.

All you seem to be doing is stirring up trouble. You have no intentions of attending this event.
