A Little Scion Competition For The Solstice?

Could this be a hint of the rumored Scion convertible?

IMO it brings new meaning to the word "ugly".

UPDATE: This vehicle made the cover of AutoWeek this week.

Uh, no it is not a hint of any kind of Solstice competition.

I looked it up in Webster's and indeed there is a photo of that Scion concept next to the word ugly.

This would not even compete with the sdolstice. It takes a different kind of person to stomach that scion.

Oh, and I thought you were serious, Perian...

I saw a black Solstice at a private boarding school next to my home today. Simply stunning.

If it was toned down SLIGHTLY, I think it would be kinda cute. And it would be competition for the Solstice/Sky in that it would be one of the cheaper convertibles out there.

That was @ SEMA. It was hands down the stupidest looking thing at the show. Although, there was a hot model standing next to it. There is no way that thing was producable.

Pff! A front-wheel car competing with a rear-driver. Not to mention that the car looks like golf cart on steroids.

This is what it said under the picture, on the website.

The xA speedster is the latest and greatest creation from Scion and Five Axis.

Re: A Little Scion Competition For The Solstice?

If they restyled the MR2 to be less ugly, that would be an awesome Solstice competitor. Recall the original MR2 buried the Fiero.

This thing, on the other hand, is just a gussied-up front driver for posers (and an ugly one at that).

That's not competition, it has to be good looking to be competition.
