This listing is mighty suspect...
The guy is a brand new seller with no rep (not really a big deal in and of itself but...)
There's no VIN number listed, something that's usually available.
He only has one low-quality image of the car. Most sellers have several higher quality pictures inside and out.
He likes the car but is selling it because of bad dealer service? Why not go to a different dealer if you're not pleased with the service?
The VIN is listed in the item description (big paragraph).
He can't go to a different dealer for service, as he says in his description that there's only 1 Lexus dealer around within a 150 mile radius.
I wouldn't drive an extra 2+ hours for regular service.
But he should have known that before he bought the car.
This doesn't surprise me, Toyota and Lexus both have bad customer service. That's ridiculous the dealer is being like that over a $65-70K vehicle.
Wow, Infiniti, you were real quick to brush this off. Doesn't even look like you read any of the page before telling us how impossible it was for someone to be unsatisfied with a Japanese luxury marque.
God Bless the Blue Bullet.
Ok...I didn't read it close enough. My bad.Originally Posted by AdmiralViscen

Are you kidding? Lexus costumer service is some of the best.Originally Posted by nsap
Tell that to the guy with the Lexus on eBay.Originally Posted by griswold44
I know one dealer doesn't represent all Lexus dealers, but I have heard time and time again that the Toyota/Lexus dealers have bad service.
Where does Lexus rank on the service index? I honestly don't know.
Good to see that Lexus gets beat by 3 domestic brands. Lincoln truly does earn the top spot when it comes to service.Originally Posted by Infiniti Z350
Lexus doesn't suck big time like you said. All dealers are different.Originally Posted by nsap
So this is all the dealers put together and it show's that some American Luxury brand's have higher customer service than Lexus.
I said that Toyota/Lexus had bad service, as in not great. I never said their service "sucked big time," so stop putting words in my mouth. It is nice to see that Lexus was beat by 3 American Luxury brands, I guess that shows who apperiates their customers more.Originally Posted by griswold44
It looks like I was dead-on about Toyota though! Every GM division beat them.
Who cares. The guy had bad service. Move on and buy something else.
Oh yeah Toyota service is pretty bad. My parents own a toyota, and had better service, but what can ya do. As far as Lexus service, they always been rated at the top or near the top since 1989(when they were introduced). Thats one of the many things Lexus prides itself about is its customer service.
During the 90's Lexus practically revolutionized how customers should be treated when serviceing their car and purchasing a new car. They were one of the first to bring in Free car washes, loaners, nice, well tempered employees, went the extra yard to just to please you, gifts, food and etc in the service department. Some of the stories being told on Lexus sites are simply incredible(from buybacks of cars, loaners for 30min oil changes to comparos between service of main competitors service departments and why they chose Lexus over others). My Lexus dealership has always taken great care of me.
I'm not saying that all Lexus dealerships are equal(which is obvious as the seller of this SC is Poed), but as a whole Lexus is one of the best in the business.
