    2007 Tundra/Seqouia

As just about everyone knows/sees Toyota pretty much copied the 97-03 F-150/Expedition in every way possible pretty much ( Except the ability to do work part which is no surprise) So do you think Toyota will be copying GM, Dodge or maybe even Ford once again on the 07 Tundra and Seqouia?

Toyota is too far in development now to copy the 900's. So they will copy the 800's. :p

PS: This belongs in the Asian competition forum, IMO.

Honda chose GM (obviously!) for the Ridge/Cringe/Road/line mini Avalanche on Acid.

Some say Nissan eyed Dodge big time.

    It'll be interesting...

GM didn't do anything original, innovative or groundbreaking for the GMT900s. Toyota would be smarter to surpass them, and they probably will.

Not a chance of that happening.

Perhaps, though they clearly did not with the present generation Tundra/Sequoia.

I laugh at the fact that 460 underestimates the competition ESPECIALLY Toyota. Too funny.

There is reason to underestimate Toyota when it comes to Full Size trucks, Remember T100 and Tundra? Yea that's what I thought.

I agree. 460's attitude is why GM and Ford is the the situation they are in now with the car market. They underestimated the Japanese.

Well, when Toyota arrives with a competitive full-size "full-size" truck, we can talk.

I don't think anybody here underestimates Toyota.
In the same token, nobody gives GM a free pass so why would a GM board give Toyota a free pass, especially when the big T Trucks have been so underwhelming????

The American's are in fine position in the full size truck market, This is a completely different situation then car's. The American's have the lead by a lot and are not just sitting in neutral with their trucks. Toyota has come out with nothing great in the full size truck market and neither has Nissan ( Good powertrain , too bad rear differential is junk).

Nissan can produce a winner on their first attempt with the Titan, if Toyota takes their gloves off they will do the same. The Tacoma is the best compact/midsize truck on the market, there's no doubting Toyota's talent in making trucks, it's simply a matter of their will. I think they find it now that Nissan decided to jump head-first.
