Sorry China, we'll buy your disposable electronics and lead coated toys, but when we Americans want a cheap car with horrible quality, we get a Chrysler.

The Fit seems to look nicer in real world pics.

They really screwed over the civic proportion-wize. It looks fugly in the US and in Mexico.

If they had the steering wheel and instrument cluster from the Fit on the Civic, it might be worth considering.

I still think the Civic looks more like an Acura than the RSX...

At first I kinda dug the Civic's interior, now fagheddaboudit...it's Fugly with a capital F.

The new Civic looks really good IMO. The interior is awesome, and the exterior is smooth and fast looking. The Fit's not bad, looks good, but the Civic tops my charts.

You mean the charts of fuglyness? or maybe thats just my opinion, but I rather have somthing bland than just fugly, and I rather have the fakest looking wood, and the crappiest fit and finish then this star wars imatation junk

The Civic would look nice if the hood was at least about 18 inches longer. The van-sized front end on a sedan looks really stupid.

I'm interested to see how reviewers react to the digital speedometer in the Civic. They've always complained endlessly when American cars over the past 25 years had them; I wonder how they'll react now that Honda finally has one.

Re: 2006 Honda Civic Coupe and Honda Fit

The Fit is a really cool little car.

not for a 4x4 driving guy out in the boonies, obviously, but as a city car (especially for people who just use a car to go shopping and drive small kids around) its perfect.

shame you cant see how clever the seating is in the back - its one of the few seating systems that is more impressive than GMs Flex-7 system.

Re: 2006 Honda Civic Coupe and Honda Fit

Ill wait to decide until I actually see a new Civic. My brother who lives a few states away doesnt know a thing about cars, and never brings them up unless he tells me what is going wrong with his Hyundai now, brought up the Civic. He is always big on imports, especially Honda, but weven he thinks the new Civic is ugly. I guess it cant be worse than the Ridgeline....when I first saw that I thought it was a joke.
