**Update** Chevrolet Kingswood Estate and Now Buick Electra Estate

Ok as much as I'm against this we know the Chevrolet needs something to go up against the Magnum wagon and well Nissan has a perfectly good platform available in the Stagea. Now the Stagea would never be sold in America so there would be no in house competition. There are 5 models available and all have the option of all wheel drive. The LS is available with the 3.6L V6. The LT is available with Nissan sourced V6. The LTZ is available with the 5.7L V8. The RS has the Skyline GT-R sourced Twin Turbo 6 and finally the SS has a slightly detuned 427 or an optional 454 Big Block V8.

The version shown is an SS with all wheel drive. The Kings wood would start at $23,995 and climb to $52,975.

looks good, and i agree...Chevy should bring back the Nomad (in non-Solstice form like the concept) to compete against the Mag/300C

Good start, I suggest you try to define the chop though!
I'll make a new sig. Later.

Very good idea, I always wanted the Stagea to come to the Western world! I agree the execution could be a bit better, but I hope you will be working on that.

BTW, this could be a good idea (not rebadging the Stagea, but the shape of the body) for the new VE wagon, and calling it Kingswood for differentiation would be cool.

Love the idea of a modern-day Kingswood, but a Kingswood Estate wouldn't be complete without faux wood trim on each side of the car. Any clever ideas on how you could do something like that as a modern expression?

Oh! I just thought of an idea:

What if that door-bang protector trim running along the lower side of the car were actually some kind of narrow wood trim with the same function?

Taking the advice of others i had updated the chop now it is more of a rebadge. I'm still considering what headlights and foglights to use and also different rims. There will be a Buick and perhaps Saturn version to follow. Perhaps an Eletra Estate.

i like how you used the hhr concept grille, but the part of the bumper that goes between the 2 halves doesn't look right. try using a gradient with one color being the white from teh left and the other the grey from the right side. be sure to make it a new layer and that it doesn't go over the grille(s) or the chevy badge.

I like it better without the hood scoop. Also like that wood trim on the mirror and on the side trim.

Nice improvement here! I guess the lower bumper could still use soem treatment to better fit withe HHR grille. The wooden mirrors are great

And here is the Buick version. The motor line up is similar. These models could change. The CX is available with the 3.6L V6. The CXL is available with Nissan sourced V6. The CXS is available with the 5.3L V8. The Super has the 5.7L V8 and finally the Ultra has the Supercharged 4.4L Northstar V8 or Cadillac XV12 that is currently seeing service in the Fleetwood and XLC. This starts at $26,995 to $70,295.

Get those lights out of the grill. The portholes need to be moved up along the top line of the fender. More over/above the wheel well. Also give the Buick nicer wheels.
The Chevy's wheels can be changed too as well as the headlights & the rear end of the Chevy to be slanted inward a bit.

IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!
