    Traverse Z71

Introducing the Traverse Z71 package for 2011. We took the standard Traverse, shortened the overall by 10 inches, took out the 2 rear doors, the 3rd row seats, and lifted the suspension 4 inches. The Z71 package gets a wheel and tire combination specific to this model only. The roof storage compartment is an option. Optional engine is a turbocharged version of the 3.6 VVT DI V6 engine good for 320 hp.

    What do you all think??

For a car that is supposed to have utility...you take away 2 of the doors?

Looks great! Although it needs 4 doors it looks so much better shortened up. The way they build them currently gives them quite an odd proportion.

I agree. Making it shorter not only makes it ugly, but messes up the utility!

This is more for the Couples without kids that go Skiing or biking on weekends and don't need the extra utility, But has extra seating just in case.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

EDIT: BigAl Here is a quick mock up of a 3 dr. Like it any better?

I like it, although I think you could make the door longer, while keeping that wheelbase.

    Nice job!

I see your point. I'll try to fix it before the end of the contest.

    Re: Traverse Z71

It looks like it would be about the size of the current/last Saturn Vue.

    !!!
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!
