Looks more like a normal car instead of the turtle it is now. Great drawing although I think it would look even better if it was under a gm name

I like how you incorporated the new Toyota style grille.

    Looks like your Olds entries.
And would an electric/hybrid car need such a prominant grille?

    Re: Toyota Prius

Hmm, it's way better then the current Prius but the grille is way too big for a hybrid.

Uhm, that's not going to get you really far here. They're just going to throw a fit about it. I don't really care though, just a heads-up.

Ohh, and that's an awesome truck in your avatar, is that your's?

    Re: Toyota Prius

the grill was more of a design thing, i guess. I doubt it would look good with a tiny grill. pretend its a concept car and will get dumbed down for production with a smaller grill.

While in principle I'm no Toyota fan...

I can see your hatred against Toyota by your (Insert Sacarstic tone) oh so intelligent signature...that really show your true colours.

    As for the Prius...

I can see a slightly resemblance with the new Citroen C6. I really like your drawing skills Mr. Bruns

    Re: Toyota Prius

It's interesting to see how many people copy Torred's sketching style.

Not bad, perspective is a little off. Overall, some interesting details but a lot of them are starting to get too sharp and raw for a vehicle that needs to cut though the air and be super aerodynamic for optimal fuel mileage.

I would soften the nose up a bit...not blobby but add some roundness to the lower valence and headlights.

    Re: Toyota Prius

Like others have said, the prespective is a bit off. The overall quality of it is on spot, looks nice. I do agree with the large grill on a hybrid ha..but hey, atleast it doesnt have to "look" like a hybrid..which to some may be thought of as not so attractive. Kinda like Yota's design in the new Lexus hybrid..the styling you wouldnt expect from a hybrid per say.

BTW off topic a bit...why is everyone SO defensive for Toyota. I'm not one to bash on any manufacturer without reason..and I can understand that its immature to say one liners like "I hate toyota"...but you get alot further by ignoring those comments or asking the person "why?"..if they don't have a foot to stand on then they will just end up leaving the discussion or making a fool of themself. People need to lighten up over that kinda stuff..thats just my opinion tho..I personally get more annoyed by the people flaming the ToyotaHaters then the ToyotaHaters themselves.

    hoey

i have no intention of copying torred's or anyone's sketching style. The only thing i did copy from torred's and others that i have seen, is the shading under the car. I think those vertical lines give the sketch a more professional look, and thats why i used them.
