Well, what can ya tell us about Toyota, that alot of people don't know about Toyota? That is if you're not sworn to secrecy about everything.
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

Toyota makes a darn good product. Exciting? No. But darn good. and the people that buy them, buy them because of reputation.
And no one that comes in to buy a Toyota is even thinking of buying a domestic car. If not Toyota, they'd be at Honda.

That said, I have the hardest job at the dealership. I sell extended warranties. Everyone's first response is "I don't need it, it's a Toyota".

Looks like voting will start Sunday.

    So I get it.

If you can sell extended warranties at Toyota you can sell them anywhere.

What a great way to establish your credentials so as to eventually work for GM and make a killing in commissions at a Chevy dealership. LOL.

just the fact you drive a toyota may influence someone who sees you into buying one, its advertising

My Camry gives me no bills to pay.
The dealership pays the car, the gas and the insurance.
And at 12000kms, I get another one.
    I can't complain about that.

Yes but look at the upside.

Isn't it better that Toyota dealers are filled with staff that merely respect Toyota but love GM? I mean - imagine how many more Toyotas would be sold if dealer employees were actually Toyota devotees and fanatics enthusiastically spreading the gospel?

LOL! I could not sell a car that I don't believe in. People tell me I should be a GM salesmen, because I can pitch them/sell them really well. Try doing that for Toyota..forget it. Isn't too convincing. But, let's all stop ragging on Rex here. He made his decision. He already gone..he went to the dark side...lol No, but seriously.

lol, must i remind you guys that they're just cars? your treating toyota and GM like two seperate religions and people are being converted to the "dark side".

they're cars. most northamericans see them as appliances.

the next thing we need is someone being converted to the dark side because they chose whirlpool over maytag.

btw rex, once voting starts, can we immedietly (or very soon after) start the next contest? that way, voting can take as long as it wants.
