Slow at work - C6 Z06 chop (Update)

Works been slow, and we have photoshop on the computer. This isn't the best chop ever, it has been many years since I have even looked at photoshop. It isn't anything crazy or radical, but a simple, subtle chop. I lowered the entire front grill and lights, the side and the roof. Then I darkend the picture and added two layers of light, blue then white. I also erased all the lines on the hood, door and mirror. Its far from perfect but I think its pretty good for my first chop in about three years. It is currently the background image on the computer at work. I get everyone walking buy asking me about it.

I used the brush thats kind of blurry, and set the opacity and flow to 50%, and the brush size to 150. First I did just white, then later went and put a layer of blue in front of the shading and behind the white. The shading was the same thing but the brush size was max, and I just clicked the mouse three times.

Nice. I don't think I've seen this type of chop here before.

There is another method called lens flare. I think that it looks more realistic personally. Definately need to see these one's. Keep up the good work. Nice job on the lowering.

Thanks for the links, that makes illuminating the headlights really easy.

Nice chop, looks cool with the headlights turned on.

Re: Slow at work - C6 Z06 chop

Its been pretty busy at work lately. Until today that is. For somereason, nobody goes to the mall when its raining. I didn't change much, but I did add some lights to it. To get the headlight shine, I tried that whole "lens flair" thing, but it didnt look good, so I just erased part of the darkend layer.:p I'm working on another one. Same car, but a side view. I need to think of another car. Getting tired of working on this yellow vette.
