    Skylark Convertible

Introducing the Buick Skylark, based on the Epsilon platform. With an Enclave-esque interior and retractable hardtop, it's sure to turn heads. Think it's all show and no go? Think again, the Velite is powered by a smooth, powerful 3.6l HF V6 with 300hp. Go ahead, it's the new Buick Skylark...all in one powerful, stylish package. Skylark: changing the face of Buick.

    This is a joke...right?

If not, you've got a pretty decent chop there.

On the contrary - this isn't the best chop possible, but if GM is serious about a Buick convertible, that's probably it - a "rebadged" G6 'vert.

Ahem, that is not a rebadge. Why would this be a joke?

    Re: Buick Velite

It's a good idea, but your chop screams rebadge. Why can't the Velite look like the Velite concept? Make it on the G6 platform, I don't care. But make it look like the show car.

The real version, if built on Epsilon, probably would look alot like that.

It's purpose was to show what an Epsilon based Velite would look like, not one based on Zeta. Maybe I should change the name..

Sadly if the Velite was to be built on the Epsilon platform, it would look pretty similar to this.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

Ah, do I detect a hint of minty freshness?

    Re: Buick Velite

i agree, use all teh panels from the velite concept, but put them on the G6 (if you're gonna chop an epsilon velite). but if it's really going to be made, i suggest GM stay away from that, and utilize the new zeta platform to reduce costs.

^ Uh...Camaroman...I don't mean to sound like a jerk-off...but...why do you spell "the" sometimes as "t-e-h"?

    Fast typing, I suppose?

Didn't hear the (tragic) news of Velite being on Epsilion and I thought this was a chop for crap and giggles.

    Re: Buick Velite

Oh, I see. If the Velite was on Epsilon, this is what it would look like. GM is not going to put a whole different show car body on Epsilon.

    Re: Buick Velite

not bad. it'd be better named as a skylark or regal though. maybe put a 5.3L in it and call it the GN or GNX and this be the vert version? idk.
