Sketches from the past few months

I haven't put up any sketches for a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been working on some.

First up is the Audi Avant. I started it over the summer and just now finished it. I wanted to keep to the design clean and update with Audi's (slowly) evolving design theme. In the end I ended up being inspired by Audi's of the 70's and 80's, mainly the Audi 100 Avant....

And here's the final product after months of on and off working. I'm not really that happy with the way it turned out though.

Then there's the Renault. It started out as a small SUV, something along the lines of the Juke but it ended up being a vehicle that's more or less a preview for the next Twingo. Regardless, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out and hopefully you are too.

And next is an idea for a new Civic coupe. I was inspired mainly by the CR-Z's edgy lines and tried to imitate that a bit with the rear fascia.

Finally there's a possible next generation Sentra that I finished up just last week. I really like the direction Nissan's styling is going with the Maxima, 370Z, Juke and the Ellure concept recently unveiled in LA and ended up with a compact car heavily influenced by those vehicles.

Sort of depressing, considering I'll never be able to drive any of them. Especially the Renault! But I like them all, a lot.

your rear views are killer man, one thing I need to work on more. But I really like the comparison picture for the top sketch. You did a pretty good job of taking that car and blending it with the modern Audi styling.

That Twingo is total win, and I bet the French would actually build it.

Loving your work, keep at it.
