The XTS could and should have been the head-snapping jaw dropper I naively felt certain was to be unveiled after all that suspense, with Welburn equating it with the 1963 Stingray and Countach. For me, personally, he has greatly diminished his credibility with this bland offering, and along with it, my own willingness to be excited about, and hopeful for, Cadillac.

Groan... once again a concept has evolved into a flagship and a litmus test for everything that is Cadillac.

The XTS is a replacement for a hearse -- it's not an attempt to set the world on fire.

Of course if up to me I would have changed the style of the car too.... real fins too.

Remember when Cadillacs had style and some real shape.....

If the XTS is bland to your eyes what do you drive? It is nice to know what you like enough to spend your money.

I like the extension of the front end, but the rest of it is over the top. think it would look best if you just extended the front, leaving the roof line and quarters alone.

I saw the XTS in person tonight and after seeing it in person, I really do like it much much more than in pictures, but I still love what you've done Monaro. Now that I noticed it, I love your roof line. I much prefer a more formal squared off one. The package tray on the LaCrosse and XTS are about as big as the hood on my old Dodge Omni. The added fender bulging on your updated one isn't for me, however.

    Here's the pics I got.

My only complaint with the XTS is that the hood is too short. If they could just lengthen the hood about 6 inches or so, it would make it look more like the Sixteen Concept.

Is that a reflection in the headlights or do they have moodlighting ?

Do you mean the light pipe on the edge or something in the middle? The piping on the outside of the headlight and fog light changed colour from a white DRL type light to an amber for turn signals.

    You can see it here

I agree...on the Converj the angled side crease is the literal and visual "anchor" for the rudimentary "fins"....here the crease looks tacked on.
