cmon, anyone! i really need help on this stuff
I was working on a tutorial to show you, but I'm no professional artist or teacher, so the tutorial wasn't going so well.
So, here is a link to a good tutorial that I quickly found.
The tutorial seems to center on shading realistic art. If that's what you want, try out that link. If not, other techniques may be similar, but there may be a small difference in styles.
I suggest looking for other websites as well because not everyone will have everything. I couldn't find any good ones that could help you with shading a car. So, if desired, search around.
My personal advice is to look at real photographs, or images on the net. Look at where the shadows are on the car and see where the light source is, because that determines where and how dark the shadows are.
Hopefully that helps at least a little. If you have more questions, I'll see if I can help you in any way possible.
Identifiy a light source.
Everything farther away from the light source will be darker.
