    SAAB Aero-Y (Chevy Volt Chop)

I was going to enter this in the Weekly Photo Mod contest, but hadnt had a chance to finish it in time..so alas, here it is..

There are still some things that I would like to change, but I just wanted to get it up here to see what some of you had to say first.

Beautiful! But I just have one curious question. With the sculpted glass on the windows, how do the windows move up and down? Is there some type of unique guide that executes a wavy path?

unfortunately, they are simply plexi-glass or acrylic molded pieces that the standard window goes up and down behind. IE, they are simply stuck on pieces of plastic like the wind/rain guards....

Nope. THe only saab cues are the front.
And I still think the entire Volt design is hideous.

I cant admit myself to caring for the Volt either...I think it's the glass work with the doors, cant stand that. But I think that with a front end similer to what I tacked on, get rid of the glass on the doors, and eliminate the trim that runs on the side of the car..the over all shape and structure of the Volt isnt light years away from fitting Saab. I mean, it's not head on, but it isnt dead off.

I like your concept much, much, much more then the Chevy Volt.... which imo is a theft of Saab concepts... and maybe it's just me, I see much of the Aero-X in the Volt's lines.
