    Re: Rex's Imp

Quite stylish, and it looks like a progression from the current gen styling which is a good thing. Is there a way to make the bar w/ the bow tie on it all chromey or the same body color as the car? Or is it supposed to intentionally look like plastic? I know there's only so much you can do with photoshop but I thought you were like the photoshop guru. Either way awesome job.
    Never mind.

    Re: Rex's Imp

I really don't like the brushed aluminum-looking bar across the grille - looks out of place. Either body color or chrome would look better.

I do like the other detailing, and smaller headlights. Smaller, narrower headlights are what is "in" now, I think. That darned Sneech machine from Japan!

So my first impression was Toyota's Camry rubbing off on Rex due to daily exposure? :p

    Here's a fixed grille update.
No Camry's were involved in the making of this chop.

LOL, I think you should say "No Camrys were harmed",

That looks better. What material is that supposed to be in the crossbar? Is it painted gray, or supposed to be a similar material used on the wheels? Mother-of-Pearl? It could actually look really good in real life if it had a kind of deep glossy sheen to it.

    Re: Rex's Imp

Rex, could you make the bar body colored and completely integrated into the front fascia? I personally kind of like the idea of the traditional chrome bar grille, but it doesn't look like that is were Chevy is headed, and maybe body colored would look better on this design...? But then it would fall in line perfectly with the new Chevy face and you got yourself a B E A UTIFUL fullsize Impala that hopefully by chance a GM designer might get a peak at and make this thing a reality!!!!

I dunno, GMFanatic. When it is limited to that size I kind of like that gray thing in the crossbar. Maybe a similar material to what was used around the plate on the CTS?

the second one looks great, I too looked at using a Bentley, then again I guess all big cars have been checked out as donors.
car does look alittle bit like an extended version of a large sedan, but does look way better than the current impala.
2 things:I'd remove the "allcarwallpapers" in the corner, and whats that thing hanging infront of the right front wheel?
    rims look great.
