The door track looks much better there. This is a very tiny looking minivan. Good job!

There is just one thing I love more than Rex's minivan - those icons!

Yes, I think it's better now. But, what does ADV stand for?

There you go...It looks better now standing still (too bad). You streched the front glass & fixed the rake on the rear ?...much better. As well as the name, Backlash was...well, a backlash ! LOL. Good job Rex. I even like it now.

How about a comment on the design itself. This is a design contest, not a naming contest.

The previous Chevy minivan was called the VENTURE. This is a new exciting replacement for it, called Adventure. Adventure is "An unusual or exciting experience"

I think this name suits it.

    I like it.
Just find a way to make look the rear quarter less complicated and it would be perfect.

    Re: Rex's ADVenture

I like how it captures the ruggedness of an SUV-crossover look while retaining minivan functionality. But for that reason I think it makes a better crossover than "minivan". Personally I prefer a "van" to exploit its strengths and go all the way with a more aerodynamic "Shinkansen", or Nissan Elgrand look.

I'm thinking that you should make the hood flow less into the windshield...it looks to swoopy and curvy the way it is now. Other than that it looks great!

    Re: Rex's ADVenture

A bit cobbled at this point (I assume a work in progress), the front end doesn't seem to flow into the front doors, a small glitch where the window opening meets the side view mirror (it does not match up to where the molding picks up behind the mirror) and something appears to be sticking horizontally (is that a word?) out of the back section of the top. The rounded wheelwells a a definate improvement, but it appears confused as to whether it's a van or a SUV.

    Re: Rex's ADVenture

if you make the front a bit longer (like stick the odyssey's front on there with your headlights) then id go for it. Or you could make the roof lower and call it a crossover. Either way, make it less SUVish.

Edit: i think the best thing you can do to make it more minivan like is to lower the side body cladding (the bar running along the side).
