kinda stubby looking, especially in the front... it should be lower and leaner, with smaller wheels or longer in between the front wheels and the A pillar. great idea though, and well chopped.

I think it looks perfect, I just think it should be a little bigger. Kinda like a big sedan ala the current Monte, or GTO. JMO but other then that it looks great....oh yeah it should be black LOL J/K. I like the red.

    Re: Rex's 3-Series Beater

I figured I'd go red, since the majority of people will do black.

I went with a smaller size, as that seems to be in vogue. Audi S4, BMW M3, Lexus IS300. It's a new era. If I was to make a car exactly like the 87 GN, it wouldn't be original.

As long as it's RWD and has a huge honking engine, all is good, regardless of size. It still has a back seat.

    Rex-

Awesome chop as usual but how about a few minor suggestions?

Definately digging it Rex. The revision alleviates the one problem I had with the original, which was the stubby look. Nice, although my all time favorite Rex chop still is the Buick Loadmaster.

    Re: Rex's 3-Series Beater

Torred, thanks for the hints. I might consider some of the ones involving the rear of the car.

However, for the front, I like the size I went with.
Going to your size is what I would do if this was a Riviera contest. I think the GN should be more of an M3 fighter, not a grand tourer, luxo-yacht.

Love your idea of a M3 fighter, but I think you need the added length between the front wheel and windshield otherwise it reads "two-seater" to me. But then, who says it has to seat four? Excellent job none the less.

I agree it's a tad to small for my tastes, but just a tad.
