    Retro-inspired

    Hi, guys.

I'm new here. My contest entry is a little retro-inspired, but uniquely Chevrolet, I think. I'm a student of design right now. Feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated.

Doesn't really say "Chevy." How do you open the doors?

Not really retro, but good work, anyway.

    Thanks for your replies.

It was a quick sketch that I wanted to submit before the deadline, as I've been kinda busy with other things over the week. So, I laid out basic proportions and neglected details like door handles. It was my intention to throw in cues from the SSR, to the '90's Caprice/Impala, to some Opels.

I look forward to the next contest.

It's decent, if not production material - I have to say it screams Citroen at me!

I see the retro-ness in it, you just need to refine the idea some more.

BTW, where are you a student at? I go to the Academy of Art in SF, CA.

Not bad so far, although I don't see much Chevy in it. It does need to be a bit refined also.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

I was always a fan of Citroen designs, so I guess subconsciously, they influence a lot of what I do.

    Thanks for your comments.
