    Rebirth of the legends...(slight update)

That's right, the 442 and the Toronado are on their way!

With the Toronado, Olds went retro but with a major change, this ones RWD. An LS7 V8 that has 500hp powers this luxo-boat.

The 442 took a modern-muscle aproach with a sleek design that has hints of its heritage. This one has an LS2 with 430hp.

Id agree, the Toronado does look good, 442 doesn't look right...too Pontiac, like the GTO. The Toronado would be one hella mean lookin car.

Well, I sense a bit of subaru with the 442, it might be the headlights, although it is not a bad idea. The Toronado is neat, however the "fins" in the front make the car pretty akward IMO, but I do like the rest of it however.

    Cars I used:

442: 9-3 with a shortened wheel to window height, Camaro concept foglamps, Chevy Silverado headlights and Olds 442 hood scoops (and the split grill had been from that too.)

Toronado: Camaro concept with modifiied everything from the A pillar back, and modified Toronda front end and wheels

Hello? Is this for real? I don't mean to be dis'n anyone...but the Toronado looks like a Toronado wrapped in an after-market overcoat.
Is this a just-for-fun attempt? I respect all artists and all creative talent. I'm just not clear on the intent behind the concepts.

Doesnt the new mustang look like an old one with an after-market overcoat? And to a lesser degree the new Camaro looks like an old one with an overcoat.
It's supposed to be retro. and honestly, the front is the only thing that is very similar, the rest of the car has the same basic shape but is quite differant.
