    Q's Regarding Photoshop

    1. How do you turn a sedan into a suv (including suv-like rear and raising a car upwards)??
    2. How do you turn a coupe into a sedan?

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, so if anyone knows the steps that would work for this program, that would really help!!

I was waiting for an expert to answer but here goes

    3 methods
    - cut/stretch-shrink/paste parts of the car itself ('easiest')
    - cut&paste parts from other cars (finding suitable donor-cars [color, angle] is a pita... 'cept for wheels)
    - 'draw' over the car (I'm just getting the hang of airbrushing)
    ...combo of all three frequently
    want examples?

ps I have an old version of Paintshop, not Photoshop which is much more advanced - has 'layers' iirc.

well the way i've always done those kind of conversions is cut each individual body panel (EVERY panel of the car) from the sedan and paste it onto a picture of an SUV (at the same angle...with the proportions you want for your final concept) and stretch to fit. i've never done a sendan to SUV, but that's the way i make front-engine cars into mid/rear and vice versa.
