    Pontiac G7 Tempest Sportvan

    This one was the most popular design so far on the voting thread I set up here.

    The Pontiac G7 Tempest Sportvan;

    Sort of got'a GTO staion wagon theme to it, huh ? ...A minivan I would not be embarrased to drive !...and HARD too, lol.

    Here is the new version ;

    ...we'll see which one's make it to the contest.

    GO VOTE on my thread..."Pick the 2 that stay"..., or post a comment here.

    Time is running short.

    THX.

    Looks way too much like the Enclave. The rear doors aren't even minivan style, and your smudginess is back. Not enough originality. And if you've posted a similar picture before, you shouldn't start a new thread.

    I really do not like the ultra-Smudgy chops which are suposed to look like paintings. Go for some realism.

    Apparently, the resoulution of this pix is not up to the same level as the other ones I did so far. I'll see if I can clean it up some.

    In this design as a Sportvan...I do not think a sliding door is needed, ala the BMW and Mercedes R series. The picture however just seems to fuzzy...and I am out of time on this one. It has some potential, but I like the Chevy I posted better. They are diffeerent base cars, but both are Sportvans, the chevy is more van, this is more station wagon I guess.

    GM would never have identical looking vehicles (or minivans for that matter) except for the grille....

    I wouldn't put it past them to build and sell something like this, given the precedent of the torrent and SV6, but the wheels need to look more "Pontiac" like.

    Re: Pontiac G7 Tempest Sportvan

    Allright...this is the last one...a revised Pontiac G7 Tempest MV ;

    It is the same basic concept as the previous one here, which was a Enclave based design as where this one is NOT. More a Zeta platform design, similair to the Chevy Biscayne Sportvan I posted. More Minivan than Sportvan in this one.

    ok I GET THE SMUDGE or not and I know some are a bit more "arty" than "photo" ...so smudge or not do you like ANY of the DESIGN ?..on ANY of them at all ?

    really would like to know, regardless of the smudge factor.
    Because ...

    it is between this updated Pontiac and the Hummer as entry #2 ?

    Looks like it's melting.

    And no, I don't like any of the design. The doors are strange, (the front is too small), the grille is too obnoxious, and with that roofline the design, as a whole, looks like a Renault Avantime got leporsy.

    the donor car pix was the new lex concept coupe from the auto show, and the roof line is a "PHATEON" style...Go look at the drawing thread stuff and you will find the exact same thought there too.. I guess he had some GOOD ROCK too ?????

    ...you got any good "git boys" in your hood ?...you MUST.

    ...I live in SOUTH FLORIDA !
    ....and I still do not understand your comments at all. WAT's UP?
