Based on the Holden UTEster concept, the Pontiac Flux sports either a 4 speed automatic or 6 speed manual transmission. Pick from a standard 3.9 V6 or the same V8 that powers the GTO, both with Ram Air. The name Flux reflects the car's ability to change fluidly for whatever the situation may call. Whether it's getting around town or taking party supplies down to the bonfire at the beach, the Pontiac Flux is ready to roll.

    *Optional rear cap is available.

I think the main allure of Pontiac for me is that they DON'T make trucks.

With that said, work on the ram air scoops (the shapes kinda... eh) and maybe get rid of the black in the cornerlamps and it would be pretty good.

If its going to be based off the Ute, and use the powertrain from the GTO and have a 6spd, its NOT gunna be FWD.

First of all, it's not a "truck". The Aztek and the upcoming Torrent are more trucks than this thing. It's based on the Commodore, a large sedan. Anyway, I went as far as I could with it so I could get feedback and then maybe pull it back a little once the verdict is in.

You're right about the FWD/RWD. I initially decided that a FWD would be a good multi-market selling point. Because let's face it... how well is the other Pontiac RWD doing right now?

Here's an alternate front end. I should point out that the Bonneville and Grand Prix both have black accents on the headlights, so I brought that over to the Flux. But I took them off for this version.

I like both front ends, but I'm not liking the curvy ram air intakes. Cool idea, though! The UTE is a sweet truck/car.

    Thanks for the comments.

Changed a few things: intakes squared off, black headlamp accents are less obvious, the mirror LED's are now white.
