    Oldsmobile GTS (Updated W/ Sedan)

GM, hearing the cry for small, fuel efficiant, fun, good looking cars decided that this demand didn't fit in very well with any of its current brands.
Coming to this decision, top executives came up with the idea of re-creating the Oldsmobile image into one that competes with Scion and the like.
Deciding to give it a shot, they called their top designer (me, of course) to create a concept that will be light, sporty, contain hints of oldsmobile, and good looking. Hence, the Oldsmobile GTS.
Heh...just a fun little idea. Dont worry rex, i'm working on another, but it's 1 in the morning here...i'll have it done tommaro.
    Whaddya think?

    Okay, here's the sedan version.

I like the look, but the dimensions seem off. Almost Smart-car like.
The floating rear spoiler does nothing for me.
But I like the front end treatment. Get that 2nd one online soon!

I also think that it looks tiny, but it really does look good. I love the sharp creases along the fenders. Many cars seem to have that gaping mouth, but yours looks quite nice. I like how it meets the headlights in the upper corners.

srry guys, i have the second one finished, but there's no way i can get it on the page whilst i'm at school. I'll have it on as soon as i get home though...it's a four door version with a different-ish front fascia.
srry bout the wait...stupid school, such a waste of time.

    Re: Oldsmobile GTS

I like the car, but do not like the idea of using Oldsmobile as their "fuel efficiant, fun, good looking cars" Thats a total opposite of what Oldsmobile was they were anything but "fuel efficiant, fun, good looking cars", well good looking mabey but not the other. It needs to be something new kinda like what Toyota did for Scion. Mabey call it GMX or something like that or mabey Magnus...seriously who wouldnt drive a car called a MAGNUS!

Very cool..only thing I notice about your drawings, is they dont' have trunks. And like Rex said, these floating spoilers that seem a little big to start off with..otherwise..two cool cars.

not bad for the sedan. it seems your going with a BMW thing, with the coupe and sedan be slightly different

Re: Oldsmobile GTS (Updated W/ Sedan)

A very good idea and great execution!

This styling theme does not step into the area of any other GM brand, except for Suzuki perhaps, but they're not that GM nowadays

Apart from the styling, the concept is also good - GM could really use a slew of small, trendy, sporty cars with a "young" image. Although this could be taken care of by other brands (Saturn? Pontiac?), a "new" brand wouldn't do any harm.

This is all based on my interpretation of your Manga-style drawing - I see the coupe as Tigra-sized at best, and the sedan as a compact.

You don't have to imagine. Just take a look at the original Aurora. If this isn't cool, then what is?
