If this gets a good public reception, I have another entry planned with the same theme.
are you being serious?????
you can't just take an existing car and add a Olds logo. That defeats the purpose of a design contest.
I appreciate your effort, but you must try harder.
Furthermore, your donor car is really boring to start with.
Olds reborn thanks to Daewoo
Yep! GM owns Daewoo, right? Daewoo produces a RWD Luxury sedan for the US market. And it's not just a rebadge either.
I have no objective opinion on this concept. I already feel as though the European market is dictating and at some level destroying the American Dream Machines. And that is no fault but our own. But things are different now. With improved craftsmanship and quality, and with designs that don't need marketing momentum, General Motors can overcome these issues if they could only find ways to cut production costs and keep the employees happy. At least GM does not run slave shops to keep costs down.
Rebadging a Daewoo as an Olds and charging 5 times more than they should for it? Sounds like a possibility for the near future.
