    not my final entry

still working out a few ideas, this design plays it rather safe but i'm not thinking to far out in terms of production, ie 18 to 24 months.

^ No offense, but this guy has professional-looking work. TorRed's work is great, but we should really quit using him as a standard. It's unfair.

    I'm serious.

I think if you streamlined it less and made the trunk a little longer, it would be the best one yet.

This conforms with the 'studies' you posted earlier. Reminds me of the '68Chevelle perhaps because of the rear fender bulges. Is that a 'v' rear window? That's neat and 'retro' in a good way.

You do some impressive work. I like where this is going. My only critiques are the wheels compared to the body and the color reflections don't match up. I can see what you're tying to do. Use the cool (blues) on one side and warm (reds) on the other. The other thing is the medium your using it starting to look muddy and overworked. Either use a paper with a finer tooth or thin out your scraped chaulk with bestine and use a tissue or gause pad to apply it. This may be what you were looking for though.

    Re: not my final entry

The windshield is raked way too far for reality. Vision and headroom would not be practical for a car that was being designed for the general public. It almost imitates the "Cab Forward" styling of Chrysler in the 90's. I have the same complaint for the rear. You have to make better access on the rear doors. Your rear passengers are hitting their heads on the roof line while entering the back seat. While some law enforcement officials may appreciate this feature, it's not a good design for everyday use. I'm afraid I'm going to request better rear vision out of the rear window as well. I hate to be the party pooper, but the Impala has to remain a Mom and Pop car in it's basic form. I'm convinced you can design a car to fit all personalities and remain bold in styling. Think Dodge Charger, but keep your theme. The quarter panel bulge must stay intact.
