    NG Mercedes E-class

i did this for a contest @ CSS. I tried to keep things similar ( the current E-class being a great looking car as is) but also progressive. I finally had a chance to apply the design cues from the CLS, which influenced alot of my designs way back when .

    i hope you like.

i really like this one. the styling almost seems to be creeping into Cadillac territory. my only complaint is the ground clearance, it looks the same as my corolla, which is pretty darn high

Whatever happened to it, I wouldn't wish it to my worse enemy. Or perhaps it's the new-gen Geely Merrie?

Wow. It looks really nice. Great job. The V-shaped grill is reminicent of Cadillac's V-series, but since Mercedes' grills are leaning more toward that anyway it's fine.

Lol..I know I always said that your drawings remind me of the CLS..well this one doesn't...
Seems to be too tall, too short..and just a little busy. Also, it seems with the new S, CL and the spyshots of the C..the Mercedes will be featuring a highly defined line running along the side, not just a line. Much like the CLS..but more refined I feel.

Wow, sorry for being such an ass..but those were my critiques..the quality of the drawing is great though

isn't the E a beamer5/sts/A6 competitor? from the way you did the rear door, it looks more like an MB ion.

yeah i admit, the rear end didnt turn out so hot, and there is too much ground clearance. But its the best i could do with the Eclass, trouble is, the current car is pretty good looking all by itself, and its hard to change that without making it uglier.

i like the styling and stuff you did, combining the new S with the CLS, the proportions is all that's off.

Let me put it this way: Very good, but it would be better if the proportions were right-i-fied.

That Geely resembles the desecated frog I found in my washer fluid the other day.....

I don't like the S-class (the new one) but this mixes in w/ the current E very nicely... it's stylish yet still very classy - not something the current S can claim. One thing I don't like - the rear wheels look to far forward. Move 'em back a little bit.
