    Next Generation GN

Well, might as well join the fray..... here's my take on the NextGen Grand National. Like Rex's it's smaller and more taut, and I'd prefer it with an rwd, LS2 and Getrag 6 speed although you purists can opt for a rwd turbo 6 cylinder (it won't sound as good though!). Nope, it's not black, GNs were available in all the Buick colors, it was just the 547 GNx's that were black only.

Yup. I agree. Way to much Infiniti G35.

    Decent chop though.

And all Grand National's (GNX or not) were BLACK.

Regal T-Types were available in several colors.

to defend Prova... the the new Lucerne looks a little like the G35 sedan - bottom front fascia is reminiscentof the G35 sedan

this would fit pretty nicely I think ....personally

    Re: Next Generation GN

Thanks CF, Buick styling has certainly gone in a Japanese direction, look at the Lucerne taillights, etc. And they've certainly defined Lexus as their target vehicles and market. As to GN colors, well, right and wrong. The T-Type Turbo Regal was available in multiple colors, once you ordered the WE2 GN package in later years it constrained you to Black only. But GNs certainly weren't all black, the first series (1982) were two-tone only. Sorry for the confusion.

Well I like it. I'd ad some shadowing around the headlights so they don't have a "pasted-on" look. This would be a good direction for a new GN.

Also, I too was under the impression that GNs came in multiple colors. I've seen pics on the net of GNs in white and two-tone black/grey like this:

    Re: Next Generation GN

Looks like it would make a nice luxury coupe but certainly not a grand national.

No it was an exageration. And I think that spoilers are so dumb. They look bad, block rear-ward vision, and unless your on the track your not going to go the speeds that the spoiler will help. Ugghhhh I hate Civic coupes with them grrrrrrrrrr.
