Yeah. I saw that About the time I finished. The general idea was to try to look at the front end archetecture of the older impala's, and try to translate it into a modern idiom.

Elsewise its too tall and too short. Oh, well. Next time. (Boy do I have a Nomad design that I like though)

Not a bad drawing, but proportions more like Malibu. Tires are implausibly wide.

It's very nice - the perspective makes it look short. The greenhouse-body ratio is very early 90s definitely, but I actually like that style. I can see the Diamante in it too, but that's no bad thing, this was one of the better designs in this class ever. But the car I thought about first is the Fiat 130:

Its pretty funny that you came up with a Fiat 130. I have to render one of those for school before the fall term starts.

You got any good pictures of one?

I a weird way it reminds me of the 80's Buick century.

All I can supply you are results of the Google Image search, so I guess I won't help you much with that

Man, that looks like a modern Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport to me (which is a big compliment... it takes skill to bring the Celebrity into the 21st century)! I really like it... I love the flat, tall front-end... no drooping here! Your headlights are sharp, as is your grille... the rear looks a little short to be a big car like an Impala, though.

Good skill, but it looks like a '79 Malibu.

Re: My Impala for 2009 entry

Interestingly enough, I see a '66 Chevelle in the front end. Only after others remarked on it do I consider the Diamante, but the Diamante front was unique in a way. Aside from BMWs not much else at the time had the nose leaning forward in profile.

Actually, the proportions of this car are fine, until you hit the B pillar. If it were stretched from there back, it would have been about perfect.

A great drawing, other than the 315/30-18 front tires. But yeh, great talent, but too 1997 for me.
