Thats what the GTO should of looked like if they were planning to go retro, that or a 1970 GTO. Either way, they didn't go for retro and they failed at that. Although, I would have to say, it wouldn't take much to make the GTO much better in styling. Maybe just a few sculpted lines, ram air hood, etc...

I like the front, but the rear is to squished up. It's also to retro for my liking, I'm getting tired of all the retro cars now... some cues is fine, but not all retro like the Charger, this GTO, the Camaro, and so forth...

charger? the charger is anything BUT retro. anyway, i couldn't get a really good looks at this because it's so big, so i uploaded it to imageshack and got the thumbnail:

the only thing i don't like are the headlights, i think pontiac should use the horizontally-styled ones they've used for so long. and besides, the vertical ones add to the retroness.

Hey which line was it to post the thumbnail?...I'm pretty green at posting images to this forum.

That's not too bad - I'd delete the Pontiac badge 'bump' in the center front of the hood though.

Great for a drawing, though the grille is a little too small for the size of the bumper.

I'm liking the face, mostly. I think I'd prefer a single scoop, but the only big problem is that the the 50s-Chevy vibe from the lower grille is way overpowering. I'm not sure what should be there instead, but I'm sure you can figure something.

By the way, that's pretty good art - keep it up.

Thanks, I got that lower facia from the new GTO though.... I wanted to keep it sort of new and modern... but you're right it is kinda over powering. I am going to see if I can draw it from another angle see how it looks.
