I've made sooo many concepts (modern 1964style, 65, 59 etc etc) this one is finished first so here it is...not retro.

remember this is meant to be a future impala, not an impala to slot into the current line up.
this car has a high belt line and large wheels giving it the roof-chopped look
like the new CLS(which when seen in person has tiny windows) and the chrysler300 which has lots of head room.

That looks very good, although I would like to see either the grille getting stretched horizontially, or shorten it vertically.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

I usually like your designs a lot, but this still could use some work - the perspective seems off in many areas, and the whole front part looks too "choopy". I can also sense some Rex inspiration here :p Still, I think you're heading somewhere (and the loss of Maybach greenhouse puts you ahead of Rex).

But it looks as if there was - this is why my response to it is so lukewarm.

I like it. What does the rear look like though? Signature Impala tail lights?

I wish GM would give the new Impala the same front end design as the 1996 Impala.

Hmmm - looks great overall, but the headlights don't follow the lines and flow of the rest of the car, they just kind of lead off to the sides.

inspiration came from my last chop done a month or so ago(which I know you didn't like):
    https://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/a...6&d=1148609201
and the rest is just logical for a modern impala.
...But I do have some more concepts i am working on and they are completely different from this one.

I like this alot, great detail on the rear 3qtr. The proportions are right on, I'd like to see some different variations on the grill.

    Re: >>>>> 2009 Impala <<<<< *UPDATED*

I really like the greenhouse/door area. The front headlights look a little different to me, but other then that, I like it...for a future Impala, not one that has retro cues, I think it's pretty good.
