    More...GTO...Under Development

Let me know what you think!
Simply, Gm will have to make the GTO unlike any other trend-follower (ie, Nissan's lame attempt to re-emerse the 280Z). The great thing about GM is that the vehicles have a strong history and family tree. Anyone can design a great vehicle and re-introduce a prodogy. But one thing Japan automotive makers do not have is the 'American Experience'. And if GM re-introduces another GTO they had better rely on their laurels.
I am projecting the new GTO wiil be a cab forward inspired design much like the Fiero, with a fifty-fifty weight distribiution (perhaps even a mid-engine) and an extended tail-end for a graceful line. It will be sculpted in a sensutual, Porche-like style, and it will be unlike anything on the road.. even a Corvette will look like a kitten aside the GTO's familiar snout.
Get your head out of the mainstream folks. The new GTO will kick - - - !
Think what want. Recently someone emailed me a message that Lutz had stated a Frirebird would not be re-introduced after I projected GM would introduce a Firebird...now Lutz is saying the door is not closed to a Firebird! Come on people!

The jellybean shape and awkward retro cues do not work well @ all.
    Current line up:
    1987 Buick Regal S/W
    1987 Pontiac Trans AM
    1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula
    1998 Ford Windstar

    1998 Chevy Camaro Z-28

And further down the road: 2k4 Cadillac CTS V.

    Those gone but not forgotten:
    1991 Ford TaurusHidden Content

the cabin looks better, but i agree that the nose should be longer, maybe incorporate the proportions of the late model (90s) Nissan 300ZX.

I think the 300Z is lame. It's a new design that has absolutely nothing to do with the original 240Z..it's just another car with tin metal for make-up.
I give it two more years and Nissan will change to somehing else...that's their pattern and history. To me it makes the cars worthless! You can fnd them at any used car lot where you pay weekly and bi-weekly. GM has a family tree unlike Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Kia, Hundai, on and on. And, that's what will make GM the namesake it truly is. They have just had som really bad designers.
